Along with some of the best in-ring talent today,All Elite Wrestlingis home to a fair share of gamers who regularly share their love of video games online and in the ring. Audiences just need to watchAEWtelevision to see this love first-hand, whether it be Kenny Omega paying homage toUndertalefor a Halloween entrance or Adam Cole honoringHalogoing into his world title match at AEWRevolution. The open love of gaming also means it can open doors, and Naughty Dog did just this by welcoming the stars of AEW for a special visit.

All Elite Wrestling recently entered its third year in business, marking it with the biggest AEWDouble or Nothingto date headlined by “Hangman” Adam Page defending the AEW World Title against CM Punk. On the gaming side, AEW Games has been working to expand the promotion’s footprint on YouTube and Twitch, with names like Evil Uno and Adam Cole leading the charge. While the worlds of gaming and professional wrestling crossing over are nothing new, it does speak to how AEW has grown in size and exposure since it started in 2019. The young wrestling promotion already had a leg up over most other promotions when it began in 2019 with the backing of the billionaire Khan family, primetime TV on TNT, and a roster of well-known veterans like Chris Jericho and “internet darlings” like the Young Bucks. AEW was able to hit the ground running and has gone on to establish itself as the true no. 2 promotion in the U.S., behind WWE, while bringing in stars likeCM Punk, Bryan Danielson, and many others to formulate one of the deepest rosters in the history of professional wrestling.
