AnOverwatch 2player made an absurd Junkrat play where they rode an enemy Pharah, and ended up getting a double kill. Many gamers seemed to be amazed and confused by theOverwatch 2clip, which was another example ofhow deadly Junkrat could be.
Junkrat is a Damage hero inOverwatch 2who uses explosives and traps to deal significant damage to opponents. His abilities include a Frag Launcher, a bouncing explosive projectile; a Concussion Mine, which can knock back enemies and launch Junkrat in the air, and an immobilizing Steel Trap. Lastly, there is his ultimate, Rip-Tire, which is a spiky explosive tire that he winds up and drives. He also has a passive ability called Total Mayhem that causes him to not take damage from his own armaments, and can also make him drop bombs upon his death.

ManyOverwatch 2players have found unique ways to use Junkrat’s abilities in matches, and Reddit user hentaihavenman shared how they pulled off an impressive midair stunt. In the 17-second clip, Junkrat can be seen launching high up in the air using the Concussion Mine and landing on top of a Pharah for a second. Afterward, the player was able to wind up the Rip-Tire midair, killing two opponents, including Pharah.
In the comments section, many gamers were surprised that Junkrat could use his ult midair, which others said was actually impossible. One explained that this could be a bug where Junkrat registered Pharah’s hitbox as solid ground, which was why the player was able to launch the Rip-Tire from above. Despite this, many were still entertained by the clip and compared it to aLooney Tunescartoon.
Overwatch 2is no stranger to bugs and glitches, which many players have shared since the game came out in October 2022. These included ability glitches, bugged skins, and a bug that would heroes to cause less or more damage than usual, among many others. Developer Blizzard has worked to fix many of these issues to improve players' experiences, and this Junkrat bug might get fixed at some point.
Despite past complaints,Overwatch 2seems to have a steady stream of players. Blizzard is also working on new features to make the game more exciting, like aspecial queue for high-rankedOverwatch 2playersand more PvE content. Just like any shooter,Overwatch 2can experience game-breaking and sometimes hilarious bugs, but they’re nothing patches can’t fix - though some Junkrat fans will likely be hoping it goes untouched.
Overwatch 2is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
