In7 Days to Die,surviving the Blood Moonwill be a constant concern for players. Due to the huge number of zombies that will swarm their base at night on every seventh day, they should have the optimal equipment to defend their bases.

Finding armor which is compatible with their playstyle will help players to cause more harm to the infested, and fend off more waves of them during the Blood Moons while spending less precious resources on it. Of course, determining which one is the best might be easier said than done. These are the best armor sets to survive every 7th day in Navezgane.

7 Days To Die Biker

6Biker Set (Medium)

Is That A Bat With Barbed Wire?

The Biker Armor is a set specialized for melee combat, with some great boons to avoid being overwhelmed by direct hits. It also has a great set bonus that puts it on par with Heavy Armor, without all the stamina consumption and movement reduction penalties. It is a solid choice to fend off the hardest enemies during the Blood Moons, and a favorite of those that pick the Strength attribute perk tree.

This set is a great choice for melee fighters who want to hold their position, especially in higher game stages, sinceinfected swarm and overwhelm defensesoften. Equipped with a Metal Bat with Barbed Wire, players can deal incredible amounts of damage and hold their positions for longer thanks to its reduction of stamina consumption. It’s the best for players who want to feel like Negan fromThe Walking Dead.

7 Days To Die Ranger

Hit ‘Em Ducks, Western Style

4

If players want to be the fastest Cowboys in Navezgane, then the Ranger armor set is what they need. Its bonuses are intended for players who enjoy a good old-fashioned Magnum revolver, and the Action Lever Rifles. For that, they’ll require investing in both Agility and Perception attribute perks, but to have these gunsoptimized to deal with hordes of infected, it’s a one-way ticket to fun.

Even during the most dangerous late-game stages, the Ranger bonuses shine bright when dealing with powerful zombies like Irradiated Wights and Demolishers, which are the worst threats to a well-built base. Additionally, the Barter bonuses from the Head slot are a great way to stack on Dukes to exchange for ammo with traders, and it looks great.

7 Days To Die Preacher

3Preacher (Light)

Time For Some Good Old Fashioned Purge

Look at all those poor lost souls spreading disease and unfaithfulness all across Navezgane. Someone should lead them to the right path: back to the grave where they belong. Enter the Preacher set, the ideal equipment for those players who want tocleanse the post-apocalyptic landswith some help from above.

With its powerful bonuses, the Preacher set ensures great defense and damage against zombies, while also providing resistance against critical wounds and infection. Picking a high-tiered Cleanse mission from Trader Joel won’t be a problem with this set, since it is optimized for zombie extermination. During the Blood Moons, a well-positioned Preacher with an LMG can clear waves of zombies like a breeze. Just mind those heavy infected, as their blows will probably inflict Stun, and this set doesn’t offer much protection against it.

7 Days To Die Raider

2Raider (Heavy)

The Raider Armor Set was conceived for players who love to go berserk and get into fistfights with Zombie Bears. It boasts the highest armor rating in7 Days to Die.Its major highlight is its 100% stun resistance at Tier 6, which turns players equipped with this Heavy Armor into a pain-train for zombie hordes. It’s not about how hard players can hit; it’s about how hard they can get hit and keep moving forward. Of course, in this case, they’ll be doing tons of damage and squashing some zombie heads as well.

Pair this with the Brawler Book Perks, a Beer, Fortitude Bites, and Some Brass Knuckles to hit harder than Superman. Stamina can be a problem, but if players invest in the Fortitude attribute perk tree, it gets easier to land hundreds of blows in a row while barely receiving any damage. Pick Healing Factor, Pain Tolerance, and equipthe Fortifying Grip Modon Fist Weapons to keep fighting even when allies fall to the horde.

7 Days To Die Commando

1Commando (Medium)

Shoot, Run, Heal, Repeat

The Commando Set is the only true support equipment in the game. It not only provides great bonuses to ranged damage and resistance from crowd control (Stun, Dizziness), but also offers a decent amount of armor rating and healing boosters. This set works best when combined with Healing Factor (Fortitude) and Physician (Intelligence) for maximum healing time reduction. Remember thatinvesting in Fortitude also synergizes wellwith the Commando’s recommended weapon: the assault rifle.

If players have all the Urban Combat Perk Books unlocked, they will also receive considerable boosts to Medium Armor resistance (+5%) and Damage Dealt (+15%) when they fight inside buildings. That means they will be constantly empowered while defending their bases from the Blood Moon waves. They will be able to run from one point to the other unhinged, while also healing their team on their path to defend strategic points.
